ADULT CHOIR
The Harmonious Funk Choir began in 2010 under the direction of husband and wife team Ben and Hanna Trevorrow. We sing fresh and original arrangements of pop, rock and soul songs. The contemporary style means that all singers, no matter how experienced, can enjoy their passion for singing in a relaxed environment. This means that whether you are a regular singer or are completely new to it, the Harmonious Funk Choir could be for you. The choir is open to men and women and there is no audition process. All prospective members are welcome to come along for a free taster session before deciding if they want to join.
Choir members learn the songs by ear, so there is no need to be able to read music. In order to help people to practise at home, members of the choir can download guide tracks for the individual parts of each song.
The choir currently contains around 50 members and performs regularly at concerts, festivals and community events. We rehearse for approximately ten weeks per term and charge £5 per session payable on the door, which means that you only pay if you come along. We offer a reduction for up-front termly payments.

JUNIOR CHOIR
The Harmonious Funk Junior Choir began in 2010 under the direction of husband and wife team Ben and Hanna Trevorrow. They sing fresh and original arrangements of pop, rock and soul songs. The choir is open to girls and boys aged between 8 and 14 years old, and there is no audition process. All prospective members are welcome to come along for a free taster session before deciding if they want to join.
The choir currently contains around 25 members and performs regularly at concerts, festivals and community events. We rehearse for approximately ten weeks per term and charge £32 per ten week term payable at the start of the term. We offer a reduction of 25% for the second child from the same family.
