The Harmonious Funk Choir is directed by husband and wife team, Ben and Hanna Trevorrow, who live in Dorchester with their two-year-old son.

Ben Trevorrow (BMus, P.G.C.E.)

Ben was Director of Music at Highcliffe School in Christchurch for eight years.  He has a wealth of experience leading instrumental and vocal ensembles and has directed and produced several full-scale musicals.  Whilst he is a classically trained musician on oboe and piano, Ben has a love of popular music and enjoys performing in bands, as well as arranging, engineering, mixing and producing music.

Hanna Trevorrow (BA, P.G.C.E.)

Hanna taught music at Highcliffe School for five years and is now working at The Thomas Hardye School.  Over the last ten years, she has directed many choirs and ensembles with both adults and children.  Hanna loves musical theatre and has directed, choreographed and produced several shows in recent years.  She has a passion for singing and hopes to be able to inspire and encourage others to share the fun of singing and performance through The Harmonious Funk Choir.
