July 17th Charlton Down Concert Information
Please be at the Herrsion Hall in Charlton Down for a rehearsal starting at 5.00pm. We will spend 1 hour rehearsing, sound checking and practising taking our places. At 6.00pm we will run our joined numbers with the Dorchester Big Band. At half six we will break to be ready for audience arriving at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. Feel free to bring a packed tea to eat after rehearsing at the hall if you wish.

The concert will run between 7.30pm and 10.00pm approximately.

Junior Choir Information
Thank you for your support at both the recent performances. The Junior Choir did very well and we have received lots of positive feedback! Please pass on our congratulations to them all.
Rehearsal dates in the summer term are as follows:
9th May, 16th May, 23rd May, 6th June, 13th June, 27th June, 4th July, 11th July,
There will be NO rehearsal on Mon 20thJune due to an event happening at Thomas Hardye School.
As you can see, there are only 8 rehearsals next term so therefore subs for the term will be £25.60 (a 25% discount is given to all siblings of a full paying child)

Saturday 21stMay – St Mary’s School Fair, in Dorchester – Timings are now confirmed. They would like us to perform between 1:15-2pm.
Saturday 18thJune – Red Cross event at Maumbury Rings in Dorchester 12pm – 2pm
Adult Choir Information
Firstly, a big congratulations for all your recent performances! We have had lots of positive feedback from various audience members and we could tell that you all really appreciated singing in a nice acoustic and that it really helped to give the performance loads of energy. Well done for all you hard work in learning it all so well – we were very proud of you all!
The dates for rehearsals in the summer tem are as follows:
26th April, 10th May, 17th May, 24th May, 7th June, 14th June, 28th June, 5th July, 12th July
There will be NO rehearsals on Tues 3rd May or Tues 21stJune due to events happening at Thomas Hardye School.
As you can see, there are only 9 rehearsals next term. Subs are £5 per session (£2.50 per session for those on benefits). As we did this term, we will offer a discount on subs for payment of subs up front. So for 9 sessions it will cost £35 (giving you the equivalent of two free sessions in the term).
Events
Saturday May 21st – St Mary’s School Fete (performing between 1:15pm to 2pm)
Saturday June 18th – Red Cross event at Maumbury Rings, Dorchester. Timings will be somewhere between 1-2pm
Sunday 17th July – Joint concert with the Dorchester Big Band at Charlton Down Hall (evening ticketed concert, probably a mid-late afternoon rehearsal beforehand)
